Bernadette is a counselling psychologist with over 20 years experience providing counselling, psychotherapy and training.
She has a particular interest in working with people who have experienced complex trauma such as sexual abuse and family violence. She has experience working in both the community and private sectors.
Bernadette has now been consulting in private practice for over 10 years. In her psychotherapy practice, she assists people with a wide range of difficulties such as trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, relationships issues, grief and major life transition.
Bernadette is an experienced supervisor, providing clinical supervision to a range of mental health professionals in both the community and private sectors.
Bernadette is interested in helping organisations to take care of their staff. She has experience delivering training and consulting in relation to vicarious traumatisation, compassion fatigue, wellbeing and building resiliency.
